John Steinbeck
1. What does John Steinbeck say is needed to write a great short story?
He said a story had to be effective and to take the reader to the place in the story. I think this means to be as desprictive and use as much imagery so the reader could image the setting. He also said the power of the story will tell how excellent it is. Besides from these things there are no other rules.
2. Tell us about a short story you remember reading. What stands out about the story?
I remember reading a story when i was little about mouse. The mouse that we was the best and could take on anybody. he found out there was an elephant. he went to challenge the elephant. The elephant ended up squirting the mouse with water and the mouse rolled all the way home. Soaked with water and his pride broken. I think what stood out to be when i was little was the colors and the moral.
